Notes
'Elegance' coneflower (Echinacea 'Elegance') is a perennial with coral pink flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. The flowers open from early to late summer on plants 18 to 30 inches tall. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Because it is drought tolerant, it suits dry spots.
Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Shrub rose, and Queen Sophia French marigold.
