Notes
'Eleonor Roosevelt' tulip (Tulipa 'Eleonor Roosevelt') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers open in a deep cochineal carmine color. They bloom from early to late spring, so they bring rich color to the garden when little else is out. You can snip a few stems for a vase. Segers Bros. bred it.
Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Black Beauty peony, and Little bluestem.
