Notes

'Elka Gaarlandt' rose (Rosa 'Elka Gaarlandt') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Roelof Buisman bred it in 1966. Fragrant deep pink flowers open in late spring, again in summer, and into early autumn, and bees visit them.

Pairs well with Festiva Maxima peony, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Nelly Moser clematis.
