Notes

'Elmshorn' rose (Rosa 'Elmshorn') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, hedges, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Rose-red, fragrant flowers open from early to late summer and attract bees. The glossy, light green leaves are wrinkled. Reimer Kordes bred it in 1951.

Pairs well with Perennial candytuft, Nelly Moser clematis, and Switchgrass.
