Notes
'Emily Saul' coneflower (Echinacea 'Emily Saul') is a perennial for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Reddish-purple petals surround a reddish black center cone from early to late summer. The blooms are fragrant, and the plant tolerates drought. Deer rarely make it their first choice.
Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Picture peony, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
