Notes

'Endymion' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Endymion') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The pink flowers have a Japanese form. The petals are raspberry pink, and the center staminodes match that shade with chamois tips and lines. Julian L. Janus bred it.

Pairs well with Halcyon hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Hummingbird sweet pepperbush.
