Notes
'Eroica' bergenia (Bergenia 'Eroica') is a perennial for borders, ground cover, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It is evergreen and blooms in early to late spring, and butterflies visit the flowers. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Carlton daffodil, Little Beauty tulip, and Kentucky bluegrass.
