Notes

'Sakura' bergenia (Bergenia 'Sakura') is a perennial for borders, ground cover, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It stays evergreen, so the leaves give you color all year. Butterflies and hummingbirds visit it.

Pairs well with Royal Standard hosta, Obsidian coral bells, HGC Jacob black hellebore, and Wood forget-me-not.
