Notes

'Rotblum' bergenia (Bergenia 'Rotblum') is a perennial for borders, low maintenance beds, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. The evergreen leaves keep color in the garden all year. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Butterflies and hummingbirds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Royal Standard hosta, Obsidian coral bells, HGC Jacob black hellebore, and Astilbe.
