Notes

'Espéranza' rose (Rosa 'Espéranza') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The medium red blooms are fragrant and appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Hippolyte Delforge bred it in 1966.

Pairs well with Sweet pepperbush, Sedge, and Big bluestem.
