Notes

'Etta' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Etta') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large double blooms are rose-pink with a light pink center, open in late spring, and carry a rose fragrance. The stems are weak, so you may want to give the plants support. H.A. Terry bred it.

Pairs well with New England aster, Prairie dropseed, and Lupine.
