Notes

'Europeana' rose (Rosa 'Europeana') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Dark red, fragrant blooms open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Gerrit de Ruiter bred it in 1964.

Pairs well with Foxglove, Delphinium, and Lily.
