Notes

'Feather Falls' sedge (Carex oshimensis 'Feather Falls') is a grass for borders, containers, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist soil. Its narrow white and green leaves arch into evergreen mounds, and feathery flower stems appear in spring. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Autumn fern, Oakleaf hydrangea, and Amsonia.
