Notes
'Eversheen' sedge (Carex oshimensis 'Eversheen') is a grass for borders, containers, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It forms a clumping, evergreen mound up to 24 inches tall and wide, and it is drought tolerant. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Bees and birds visit it.
Pairs well with Midnight Rose coral bells, Black hellebore, and Red-barked dogwood.
