Notes
'CarFit01' sedge (Carex oshimensis 'CarFit01') is a clumping grass for borders, containers, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to wet soil. It stays evergreen and reaches 12 to 18 inches tall. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Brown flowers appear in spring and again in summer.
Pairs well with Autumn fern, Blue-eyed grass, and Inkberry.
