Notes

'Bright Rose' strawflower (Xerochrysum viscosum 'Bright Rose') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and xeriscape beds. It grows well in cool weather and can ride out a light frost. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It blooms in pink and rose, and it is drought tolerant. The flowers are profuse and work well in fresh or dried arrangements.

Pairs well with May Night salvia, Lemon thyme, Lemongrass, and Totally Tangerine dahlia.
