Notes

'Exelee' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Exelee') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant flowers open in late spring. They have near white outer petals and a center of white, pale yellow, and light pink petalodes. Krekler bred it, and it makes a good plant of medium height.

Pairs well with Blanket flower, Great blue lobelia, Blue sage, and Stargazer lily.
