Notes
'Exquisite' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Exquisite') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Kelway bred it. The tall plants reach up to 39 inches and have good foliage. Its large white single flowers open in mid to late spring and early summer, and they show plenty of pollen.
Pairs well with Cinnamon fern, Pink Impression tulip, and Royal fern.
