'Eye Yi Yi' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Eye Yi Yi') is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. The brownish red blooms have a greenish-bronze throat and a sweet fragrance, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them. Rabbits tend to pass it by. It is drought tolerant and salt tolerant.
Pairs well with Brown-eyed Susan, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Hairy aster.
