Notes

'Fado' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'Fado') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The fragrant blooms attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Plants reach about 35 to 47 inches tall, so they make a good tall backdrop.

Pairs well with Nymph gladiolus, Montbretia, and Robinetta gladiolus.
