Notes

'Fairleigh' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Fairleigh') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, double, blush-pink blooms open in early summer and are slightly deeper toward the center. They are fragrant, and the strong stems hold them up well. William Brown bred it.

Pairs well with Great blue lobelia, Cinnamon fern, and Queen of Night tulip.
