Notes

Fairy bells (Disporum lutescens) is a perennial for naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part to full shade and average moisture. Yellow flowers open in late spring and early summer. It stays small, at 6 to 12 inches tall and wide, so it suits a quiet woodland corner.

Pairs well with Ebony spleenwort, Bergenia, and Evergold sedge.
