Notes

Chinese fairy bells (Disporum longistylum Lift Off) is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland borders, and mass planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade. Purple-tinged, bamboo-like stems rise in spring and open to shiny leaves. Ivory and green bell-shaped flowers hang from the stems. Blue-black berries follow in late summer and last through winter.
