Notes

'Famosa' rose (Rosa 'Famosa') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows 28 to 35 inches tall in a bushy, upright shape with glossy, dark green leaves. Fragrant medium red blooms open in late spring, again in summer, and into early autumn, and bees visit them. Jan Leenders bred it in 2002.

Pairs well with Creeping phlox, Fountain grass, The President clematis, and Cornflower.
