Notes

'Fennel, Green' fennel (Foeniculum vulgare 'Fennel, Green') is a herb for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. The light-green leaves have a fine texture and a fragrant scent. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the green blooms in summer and autumn.

Pairs well with Carrot, Common comfrey, and Fire pink.
