Notes

'Festiva' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Festiva') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The white blooms have carmine-red flecks and sit above dark foliage on a short plant. André Donkelaar bred it as a seedling of 'Humei'.

Pairs well with Spicebush, Pink Impression tulip, and White snakeroot.
