Notes
'Fiala Remembrance' lilac (Syringa vulgaris 'Fiala Remembrance') is a shrub for hedges, screens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. Its white double blooms are sweetly fragrant and open in early to late spring. The flower spikes grow 6 to 12 inches long and look good against the dark green leaves. Bees visit the flowers, and you can cut the spikes for indoor arrangements.
Pairs well with Delphinium, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Dense blazing star.
