Notes

'Fire King' rose (Rosa 'Fire King') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The upright plant has dark green leaves and fragrant orange-red blooms. Bees visit the flowers from late spring into early autumn. Francis Meilland bred it in 1959.

Pairs well with Woolly yarrow, Ornamental onion, and Blue grama.
