Notes

'Fire Opal' rose (Rosa 'Fire Opal') is a compact shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Pink blend flowers are fragrant and open in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the blooms. Tim-Hermann Kordes bred it in 2014.

Pairs well with Sarah Bernhardt peony, Sweet William, and Casa Blanca lily.
