Notes

'Firefighter' rose (Rosa 'Firefighter') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Joseph Orand bred it, and the dark red blooms are fragrant. Bees visit the flowers, which open in late spring, summer, and early autumn.

Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Fountain grass, and Mexican hat.
