Notes

'Firetail' daffodil (Narcissus 'Firetail') is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The fragrant flowers have creamy white petals around a small, deep orange-red cup, and bees and butterflies visit them. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. E.M. Crosfield bred it.

Pairs well with Sarah Bernhardt peony, Blue fescue, and Greig's tulip.
