Notes
'Flaming Prominence' tulip (Tulipa 'Flaming Prominence') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The dark purple-red blooms open from early to late spring on stems about 18 inches tall. P.A. v.d. Geest bred it, so you can cut stems for indoor vases.
Pairs well with Bridal Crown daffodil, Black Beauty peony, and Little bluestem.
