Notes

'Flash' rose (Rosa 'Flash') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant blooms open a brilliant coral orange and age to vermilion-red. Bees visit the flowers from late spring into early autumn. Robert Marion Hatton bred it in 1949.

Pairs well with Creeping thyme, Fountain grass, and Stained Glass hosta.
