Notes

'Stained Glass' hosta (Hosta 'Stained Glass') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It forms a mound of variegated leaves about 15 inches tall and 32 inches wide. White flowers are fragrant and attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Aureola Japanese forest grass, Astilbe, and Bigleaf hydrangea.
