Notes

'Florentina' rose (Rosa 'Florentina') is a climbing rose for cottage gardens, specimen planting, borders, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant, medium red flowers open in late spring, again in summer, and again in early autumn. Bees visit the blooms. Tim-Hermann Kordes bred it in 2012.

Pairs well with Jackmanii clematis, Foxglove, and Japanese forest grass.
