Notes

Florida yew (Taxus floridana) is a tree for accent, shade garden, and woodland uses. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows slowly and stays evergreen, with flat green needles in two neat rows. The seeds and foliage are poisonous, so plant it away from children and livestock.

Pairs well with Wild geranium, Mondo grass, and Green and gold.
