Notes

Flowering spurge (Euphorbia corollata) is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, meadows, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Its white, petal-like bracts form loose, flat-topped clusters that last a long time and draw butterflies and bees. The stems hold milky sap that can cause blisters on sensitive skin, so wear gloves when you cut it.

Pairs well with Little bluestem, Purple prairie clover, Rough gayfeather, and Ox eye.
