Notes

Myrtle spurge (Euphorbia myrsinites) is a succulent for rock gardens, borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. Its powder blue evergreen leaves spiral around floppy, mounding stems, and showy yellow bracts appear in early spring. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Gardeners in arid regions should skip it because it can become invasive there.

Pairs well with Silver sage, Feather reed grass, and Greig's tulip.
