Notes
'Flying Dragon' tulip (Tulipa 'Flying Dragon') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms from early to late spring. The flowers reach 12 to 24 inches tall, so they work well at the front or middle of a bed.
Pairs well with Armenian grape hyacinth, Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, and Blue grama.
