Notes

'Fort Laramie' strawberry (Fragaria ananassa 'Fort Laramie') is a fruit for food gardens, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. White flowers open in spring, summer, and autumn, and bees visit them. Deer rarely make it their first choice. The creeping plants stay evergreen and spread 12 to 18 inches, so give them room.

Pairs well with Joan J raspberry, Lemon balm, and Six Hills Giant nepeta.
