Notes

'Forte' perennial candytuft (Iberis sempervirens 'Forte') is a perennial for borders, containers, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and it attracts butterflies and birds. The dense evergreen foliage stays green through winter.

Pairs well with Spiked speedwell, Mount Hood daffodil, and Lemon Chiffon peony.
