Notes

'Pygmaea' perennial candytuft (Iberis sempervirens 'Pygmaea') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It stays evergreen and forms a dense, low mat of foliage. White flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and they attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Artist tulip, Mugo pine, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Spiked speedwell.
