Notes

Fox tail agave (Agave attenuata) is a succulent for borders, containers, and xeriscape beds. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It is evergreen, and it tolerates drought and salt. It sits low on the menu for deer. The yellow green to white flowers appear on the plant over the year.

Pairs well with Ponytail palm, Mexican bush sage, and Jacaranda.
