Notes

'Fragola' rose (Rosa 'Fragola') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Paul Croix bred it. The medium red blooms open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and thorns cover the upright stems, so wear gloves when you prune.

Pairs well with Clary sage, Switchgrass, and Nelly Moser clematis.
