Notes
'Francee' wavy hosta (Hosta undulata 'Francee') is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland settings, borders, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It forms a clumping mound of green and white variegated leaves, and purple flowers open in late spring and again in summer. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Bees and hummingbirds visit the blooms.
Pairs well with White phlox, Fernleaf peony, and Autumn crocus.
