Notes

'Gold Standard' wavy hosta (Hosta undulata 'Gold Standard') is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland gardens, borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms a clumping mound of green and yellow variegated leaves, 18 to 30 inches tall. Purple flowers attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Aureola Japanese forest grass, Astilbe, and Bigleaf hydrangea.
