Notes

'Freedom' rose (Rosa 'Freedom') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The bushy plant has deep yellow, fragrant blooms that appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. F. R. M. Undritz bred it in 1918.

Pairs well with Clary sage, Delphinium, and Queen of Night tulip.
