Notes

'Frida Kahlo' rose (Rosa 'Frida Kahlo') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The upright plant bears fragrant, red blend blooms in late spring, again in early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Bedard and Carruth bred it in 2018.

Pairs well with Maltese cross, Little bluestem, Inkberry, and Queen of Night tulip.
