Notes
'Fried Egg' coneflower (Echinacea 'Fried Egg') is a perennial for containers, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and the front of borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil. The fully double flowers have creamy white rays around yellow centers and smell sweet. Bees visit the blooms from summer into fall. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Blue grama, and Gladiator ornamental onion.
