Notes

'Fu Wang' peony (Paeonia 'Fu Wang') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Fragrant, semi-double peach flowers open in spring and face upward. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Franklin and Angela Chow bred it, and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Obsidian coral bells, Foxglove, and Cornflower.
